ಅಸ್ಸಾಮಿ (/ˌæsəˈmiːz/),[೪]) ಅಸಾಮಿಯಾ (ɔxɔmija- অসমীয়া),[೫] ಉಂದು ಮುಕ್ಯವಾದ್ ಈಶಾನ್ಯೊ ಭಾರತೊದ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಯಿನ ಅಸ್ಸಾಂಡ್ ಪಾತೆರುನ ಇಂಡೋ-ಆರ್ಯನ್ ಬಾಸೆ. ಅಲ್ಪ ಉಂದು ಅದಿಕೃತ ಬಾಸೆ ಬುಕ್ಕೊ ಉಂದು ಮಾಂತೆರ್ಲಾ ಪಾತೆರುನ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಬಾಸೆಯಾದ್ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸವುಂಡು.[೬] ಮೂಡಾಯಿದ ಇಂಡೋ-ಇರಾನಿಯನ್ ಬಾಸೆಯಾಯಿನ ಉಂದು ಎಥ್ನೋಲಾಗ್‌ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರೊ 15 ದಶಲಕ್ಷೊಗು ಎಚ್ಚ ಪಾತೆರುನಕ್ಲೆನ್ ಹೊಂದ್‌ಂಡ್.[೭]
